Sydney Sweeney Calls Her Psychological Thriller ‘Immaculate’ “my baby” While Offering an Exciting Update
In the arena of original story-telling and taking on characters by the chokehold, Sydney Sweeney reigns supreme. Taking to acting from a young age, the actress has developed a massive prowess exerted in every outing. Long after making herself a household name with a gripping performance in HBO’s Euphoria and The White Lotus, she is taking on a similar trope. Reuniting with another of the latter show’s actresses, Simona Tabasco, her next performance would call for an intertwining of all of her recent show outings to deliver on Immaculate.
Lining right up alongside other of the actress’s releases, the psychological thriller just picked up steam ahead of release.

The White Lotus, in its two seasons, showcased a deep sense of magnitude toward character development and evoked a thrill factor in psychological dysfunctions. Part of the series’ fame gave its streamer, Neon, a mercurial rise and it is not losing sheen anytime soon. Sydney Sweeney took to her Instagram stories to announce that Immaculate has found itself acquired by Neon. “This has been my baby since I was 16 and putting it altogether, producing and filming it earlier was a complete dream of mine,” read her visibly excited statement.
The upcoming flick, directed by The Voyeurs’ Michael Mohan and written by Andrew Lobel, also has Sweeney as a producer. The psychological thriller revolves around a highly devoted religious woman, Cecilia, and her adapting to a new Italian covenant. However, much to her horror and the movie’s premise, dark secrets and untold stories await to unfold. A blood-drenched costume that made its way as a leak will eventually come to the screens on April 25, 2024, alongside subsequent streaming.
Along the lines, the actress also has two big A-listers lined up for the end and start of the years.

Starring alongside Glen Powell, Sydney Sweeney has ticked major headlines for her December rom-com, Anyone But You. The sizzling chemistry between the two on-screen made brief incursions to reality even as the actress feigned ignorance and shut down any dating rumors. Shot in shark-infested Australian bay waters, the flick will lay credence to the actress’ commitment and acting prowess.
On the other end of the spectrum, Sydney Sweeney also stands decked up for her outing alongside Dakota Johnson in Madame Web. Starring as the first-ever live-action Spider-woman aka Julia Carpenter, the 26-year-old has a chance to etch a legacy in comic book movies. Alongside a comic-accurate suit, the actress aims to swoon away fans with her charisma and eye for detail.
