The K-pop group, Stray Kids, through its resilience, synchronized choreography, boundless talent, and Ryan Reynolds has become a global treat. The group has transitioned from questioning whether they will even be liked in the West to now playing balls with one of the biggest stars of the Hollywood industry. And while fans were incredibly grateful to him for showing them support, at this point, they are just baffled by his superfan behavior.

Ryan Reynolds manages a renowned football club, a bustling Hollywood career, a few side gigs in the form of million-dollar investments, a superstar wife, and four kids. But this does not stop him from being among the first fans to like any updates of the group. Especially if it is from his presumed favorite half-Australian member, Bang Chan. This was further highlighted when he liked the latest post by Bang Chan within minutes. Maybe he was not meant to be the Green Lantern after all.

It all started when the K-pop group did a Deadpool-inspired performance back home in Korea on a reality show. This is not news for fans of the genre who are used to such renditions.

Reynolds, however, was very impressed as he wrote “Oh hello Stray Kids” and tagged the group. The tweet currently enjoys 140.3K likes and a few thousand reactions of fans screaming, crying, and passing virtual hugs.

Since then, there have been several occasions where Ryan Reynolds has proved his love for Stray Kids. The actor has even done a one-on-one interview with Bang Chan. The interview was last year. But with how Reynolds is among the very first people to like his post, Bang Chan clearly left a lasting impact on him.

Fans are speechless as Ryan Reynolds beats them to liking Bang Chan’s post

While K-pop is a music industry that has reached global prominence without any outside help thanks to the close-knit fandoms, it is also very competitive. These fan wars do not happen among fandoms supporting different groups, but a lot of times among fans of the same group as they support their favorite members. So imagine the shock of such a fandom when a 46-year-old star who clearly has more to do than them with his football club and business ventures bet them to liking Bang Chan’s post.

Fans were baffled as they shared screenshots of the like with a series of shocked reactions. This led many to conclude that the only way the Deadpool actor manages to do this is by keeping the notifications on for Bang Chan’s profile. Or that he was the one behind the camera.

This gesture by Ryan Reynolds once again led fans to reminisce about all the beautiful and bizarre moments that the actor has shared with the group, knowing full well that there is more to come.
