In order to win tickets to the event, fans only needed to hit an RSVP button with the added opportunity to book a room for a guest. Scheduled to start at 5 pm, the quizzing session post the screening will have the presence of Agent Argylle actor Henry Cavill himself. Additionally, Matthew Vaughn, Catherine O’Hara, Sam Rockwell, and Bryce Dallas Howard will also stay present and ready to answer any burning questions. Judging by the flick’s first impressions, the event stands as a must-attend for the lucky few.
In first-hand looks and opinions from such special screenings, Argylle has managed to vow over critics. Many pointed out the well-choreographed stunt sequences married with a resounding original score. Additionally, with Matthew Vaughn’s signature style of direction spilled all over, the ambitious twists in the movie have received a lot of attention. Pitched as at least a trilogy of movies, the film will kick-start a behemoth shared universe.
The X-Men director has laid bare his plans to unite his upcoming outing with his previous famed ones as well as with one yet unnamed franchise. Yet, there may be a few hurdles he would need to overcome.
Argylle carries overlapping faces ahead of its Kingsman merger
Matthew Vaughn’s plans to unite Argylle with the Kingsman movies found a sore thumb sticking out in the form of Samuel L. Jackson and Sofia Boutella. The Avengers actor played Richmond Valentine, a wealthy megalomaniac and eco-terrorist. Meanwhile, the Rebel Moon actress played Gazelle, a sleuth assassin with prosthetic legs and a love for blades. Overlapping, the latter also essayed the role of Saba Al-Badr while the former gave life to a yet-undisclosed role in Argylle.
