Excitement was high as Wrexham landed on American grounds for a match after years. But according to Marca, their pre-season tour is already seeing problems as one of their players is now injured. The team’s defender, Jordan Tunnicliffe, is injured. The injury is on the calf, forcing him to stay out of the upcoming matches. He even sat out for their big game against Chelsea, making them lose by a score of 0-5. But the team performed wonderfully later by winning 4-0 against the LA Galaxy.

The player previously proved his talents during their match on home ground, which got them the promotion. However, if he does not recover soon, the team could suffer during their ELF League 2 matches. The first game is scheduled for 5th August against MK Dons and manager Phil Parkinson has expressed his concern. He definitely won’t be fit for the start of the season”, Parkison confirmed. Although the injury is not said to be serious, there is no saying how long the recovery period could be.

The injury is said to have caused due to unhealed back problems, but a replacement player has been found until then. So far, the team’s comeback has been impressive and we will see how.
