Celebrities and world-renowned personalities have a knack for perfection in whatever they do. Be it sports, entertainment, or any other field, they all have their milestones already planned, decoded, and executed in their mind much before they see it happening in reality. Similar is the case of Wrexham’s proud stakeholder, Ben Foster, who attained all fame and glory for his last-minute penalty save against Notts County. The star saw his big moment coming in a year prior to the actual game.

Presenting the thrilling time-warping throwback was Ryan Reynolds in a virtual team meeting with all the bigwigs of Wrexham AFC. The Hollywood A-lister sat with his co-owner Rob McElhenney, along with the team of Fearless in Devotion for an exclusive shot on their YouTube channel. In the course of the conversation, Reynolds went back to Ben Foster’s made-up recreation of the old school shot back from 2022. As per the star, he saw Foster posting on his social media a narrative of how he wants the “perfect moment” of a lifetime to be.

And believe it or not, that was exactly the one we saw him manifest against the Notts in the wild top-of-the-table game. His descriptions as recited by Reynolds in the video go as how it was “last minute of the game, probably the last play of the game, it’s all on the line.” In brief, Foster explained exactly the same moment, as said by Reynolds. With the same nail-biting thriller that brought fans to the edge of their seats, in Foster’s story there was exactly, “this guy who is gonna put it through the back of the net” 10 on 10.

But then there was Foster, that hero of his own story, who went “not today“. The historic save went just as dreamed by Foster a year before we actually saw it happening. Having saved the shot, Foster became the savior of the fierce game that gave the team a boost for the National League Title.
