Finally, Deadpool’s infiltration into the MCU seems to be just around the bend. With the recent teaser release of Deadpool & Wolverine, it is clear just how massive the film is expected to be. While the team of Deadpool & Wolverine, including Ryan Reynolds, shared the trailers and expressed their excitement about the film, Blake Lively was having a blast at the Super Bowl with her pal Taylor Swift. However, even in the chaos of the exhilarating football math, she did not forget to remember her husband.

Right from the bleachers of the stadium, Blake Lively shared a sweet nod to Ryan Reynolds and the upcoming Marvel flick.

Apart from the competitive game, Taylor Swift’s presence, and Usher’s halftime performance, one thing that caught quite a few eyes was Blake Lively’s big ‘90s curls and sporty outfit. However, it was her Deadpool & Wolverine bracelet that hit the spot for Ryan Reynolds. The 47-year-old recently took to his Instagram to share a picture of Blake Lively’s bracelet with a caption saying, “Found my wife”. This followed Reynolds’ recent post where he asked “Has anyone seen my wife” in the middle of the NFL game. It was a heart-shaped bracelet with Deadpool and Wolverine’s masks on either end.

While the bracelet exuded love and friendship between the two superheroes about to face each other in the off-the-wall multiversal adventure, the first look of the movie told a different story. Deadpool and Wolverine were seen ducking it out and exchanging blows in the trailer, although there was only a fleeting glimpse of Wolverine. Despite the makers’ attempts to build hype around the equation of Deadpool and Wolverine by keeping it under wraps, fans noticed some tantalizing easter eggs in the teaser.

As Deadpool lay down on the ground, seemingly exhausted and beaten from a fight sequence, and Wolverine’s silhouette approaching him, fans noticed another prop on the ground. In that shot, a damaged copy of the Secret Wars comic book lay on the barren ground along with Deadpool. However, the book soon disappears in a moment as the camera zooms into the Merc with a Mouth.

Fans figured it out to be an easter egg for the 2027 Marvel movie, Avengers: Secret Wars. This also hinted at the possibility of the Shawn Levy-directed movie acting as a prelude to the MCU movie, not slated to release until 2027. As of now, the third installment of the Deadpool franchise is about to hit the theatres on July 26th, after a slight delay from its May 3rd release date. Until that moment arrives, fans can expect some more teasers and snippets of the movie in the coming days.
