Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman lighten fans’ mood after Wrexham’s loss

Ryan Reynolds, the actor and co-owner of Wrexham AFC playfully teased Hugh Jackman in an Instagram post after the latter showed up to watch the Deadpool star’s team play against MK Dons in their match in League 2 of the English Football League on Saturday. Reynolds jokingly expressed gratitude to Jackman for his stint as the “Admiral Vice Football Operations Ombudsman,” adding that “you made the f***ng title up,” pointing fingers at his longtime frenemy.

Despite Wrexham’s 5-3 loss, both Reynolds and Jackman maintained a positive attitude and brought some cheer to their fans as well as co-owner Rob McElhenney. Photos of the Deadpool 3 co-stars together at Wrexham’s home ground of SToK Racecourse in Wales surfaced online. In one picture, they posed with their arms around each other.

The post also included a photo of them walking together on the stadium’s pitch and another where they shared laughs and banter within the premises. Additional pictures showed them posing with fans who had attended Saturday’s match.

It was heartwarming to see Ryan Reynolds keeping his cheerful self up despite going down in their first match. Moreover, fans will get to see more of the frenemy duo in their upcoming Marvel crossover.

Despite delays, Deadpool 3 shall serve fans an epic Marvel crossover movie fiesta

Ryan Reynolds is gearing up as Deadpool to face or collaborate with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in Deadpool 3. The upcoming Marvel movie aims to break a lot of barriers, including the fourth wall. Set to be the first R-rated MCU movie, it is to retain its original violent yet witty approach to filming as confirmed by Marvel boss, Kevin Feige. The movie also has Emma Corrin as an unrevealed villain with several other new, returning, and unexpected faces and cameos, including Thanos actor, Josh Brolin.

However, production needs to be resumed soon for the movie to be released on the promised date. The SAG-AFTRA strikes have halted the movie’s development. Moreover, a movie of this scale needs to balance fan sentiments while also juggling the fate of the MCU as a whole. With much at stake, fans and the actors themselves can only hope for a quick resolution.
