Ryan Reynolds Reportedly Digs Into the ‘Harry Potter’ Franchise to Add More Stars to ‘Deadpool 3’ After Hugh Jackman
Amidst the ongoing SAG AFTRA strikes, almost three months old, causing an unexpected delay in filming and its absence from the slate of Disney’s upcoming movies, you would think the hype around Deadpool 3 would have paled. But how much harm can an industry-wide strike really bring to a Deadpool threequel starring not just Ryan Reynolds but also Hugh Jackman? Not much, apparently. Especially as the start-studded list does not seem to stop at Jackman.
While the sets may not be very active given the actors have taken off their claws and masks, the off-screen developments seem to be in full swing as the franchise is reportedly giving a broomstick ride to a Harry Potter star. Or should we say THE Harry Potter star?

A five-year gap to follow up a $785 million earner, given the potential, seems not only odd but also dipped in risks of a drop in relevance. However, Ryan Reynolds knew that if he had his pseudo-rival and full-time best friend Hugh Jackman by his side, he could break almost any box office record. As fans knit their eyebrows with the same concern again, Reynolds has opted for the same strategy as he has reportedly signed Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter for a “secret role” in Deadpool 3.
The news comes from the trusted scooper, DanielRPK, and does not give much away except for the supposed casting. However, the chances of the “reportedly” becoming “really” are not thin given how the movie is looking for Wolverine and Deadpool variants.
While this is the first time Daniel Radcliffe has come this close to supposedly being cast in the real Deadpool 3, the actor has long been a fan-favorite casting. Especially after his look for Miracle Workers.
What could be Daniel Radcliffe’s potential “secret role”?

Daniel Radcliffe has long left his days as the Boy who Lived behind as he adds out-of-the-box characters and movies to his filmography. However, it was when the actor shed his clothes and unleashed his claws in the final episodes of Miracle Workers that a bulb clicked in the audience’s heads and soon enough translated to an uproar online for Daniel Radcliffe to star as Wolverine.
It became clear that Daniel Radcliffe can wield claws as effortlessly as he once wielded a wand, as rumors swirl about his possible entry into the Deadpool universe. Given how the actor’s pretty promising audition in the form of Miracle Workers is online and so is the plausible rumor of his “secret role“, it may just be a matter of time before we get a confirmation.
