Salma Hayek recently turned to Instagram to congratulate her friend for the iconic victory of Wrexham AFC this weekend. The actress shared two pictures, one of herself holding Inez and the other of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney holding the national cup. “Little did I know that the person I was babysitting for would buy a Welsh club that would win a national league title!” she wrote.

Saying this, the Desperado star then poked fun at the Free Guy star demanding money to take care of his kids. In his response, Reynolds took a screenshot of her post and wrote: “Your 80 dollars is in the mail. I swear.” For the unversed, Hayek helped the coolest couple in Hollywood babysit their daughter back in 2017.

This all started with the Canadian superstar inviting his co-star over to his home to cook dinner. So when the Emmy winner arrived there, somehow she ended up doing both things as fans can see in the picture. Back in 2021, Salma Hayek and Ryan Reynolds appeared on Good Morning America to promote their film, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. During the conversation, they both were asked about who would be the better hitman, bodyguard, and conman. The Wrexham co-owner offered his perspective, saying Hayek would be a better hitman. On the other hand, the actress commented that there is no one better than Samuel L. Jackson.

Moving forward, she also stated that the 46-year-old is the best conman because he has a creative mind. “I really think he can convince you to do anything,” explained the House of Gucci star.
