Ryan Reynolds is popular for his quick-wittedness. And his natural talent to find humor in every situation is what makes him so entertaining. The actor is not only hilarious in his movies but is also delightfully sarcastic off-screen. The 46-year-old has a habit of trolling his close ones, especially his wife Blake Lively. Shawn Levy, who recently won an award at the Toronto Film Festival, became the object of Reynolds’ humor.

After working with Levy in multiple movies, it was natural for Reynolds to form a nice rapport with the 55-year-old actor. And Reynolds’s hilarious story of pulling the senior director’s leg made their equation even more evident.

The 48th annual Toronto International Film Festival is currently ongoing and many A-listers across the world have been in attendance. Levy, the man behind one of the best movies and shows in Hollywood, received the honorable Tribute Norman Jewison Career Achievement Award. While fans took to social media to congratulate the filmmaker for his incredible achievement, Reynolds had his own humorous way of congratulating Levy. The Free Guy actor posted an Instagram story of Levy posing with the award and wroteWhat a career and he’s just getting started”.

This comment was especially funny as the filmmaker just won a “career achievement award” and has been in the industry since the 90s. Over the years, the filmmaker has given the movie buffs some of the most popular projects including Stranger Things, Free Guy, The Adam Project, and Oscar-nominated movie Arrival. Levy will also be presenting his upcoming work, All the Light We Cannot See, at the festival. The filmmaker directed and produced this Netflix drama, based on an award-winning novel of the same name.

Ahead of trolling Levy, the Deadpool actor also trolled another actor, who has also been a part of DC films.

The discourse surrounding whether Marvel or DC is better has taken the shape of a war among the fans. This rivalry started after some writers of both universes found themselves in a tiff, claiming that they were stealing each other’s ideas. Amidst the rivalry, the Merc with a mouth took the chance of trolling one of the supervillains of DC, Black Adam. Well, that is a bit of a stretch as the actors behind the superheroes are actually pretty food friends in real life. Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson worked together in the 2021 comedy film Red Notice, also starring Gal Gadot.

During an interview for the movie’s promotion on The Jonathan Ross Show, the Green Lantern actor had some hilarious comments about The Rock’s head. Channeling his inner Deadpool, the actor said that Johnson’s head looks like a p**is when seen from the rear. He further went on to say, “I’m just going to say it because that’s what it looks like, a gorgeous p**is”. While the Black Adam actor will not be a part of the DCU owing to his severed relationship with the makers, fans are gearing up for the 2024 release of Deadpool 3.
