The rapper shared a screenshot of Neko Sparks’ take on the team. “Amazing what @neko_sparks is trying to do in Ottawa & I’m looking forward to being a part of that ownership team. I WANNA BRING HOCKEY TO OUR COMMUNITY,” he wrote.

Many might remember that the entrepreneur talked about his plans for the team during his meeting with Mayor Mark Sutcliffe. So it appears that all the hype built around Senators is attracting more people towards it. Moreover, if the 51-year-old star wins over Ryan Reynolds and other bidders, he will become the first black owner of the NHL team.

“At least two of his representatives — well, they were born overseas and moved to Canada and have connections to Ottawa,” he revealed. Moving forward, he mentioned the name of the singer saying that speculations are circulating and people are texting him. However, he also made it clear that this is a rumor and nothing has been reported now.
