Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram to re-share the post of the Wrexham FX page on his story. It unveiled the most spine-chilling moment when the football team won the National League title. The video showed the “final seconds at The Racecourse” when they turned the tables and clenched the promotion for their Hollywood-owned club. The historic day left both the owners crying and again it made the actor brim with tears of happiness.

The post teased the release of all the episodes of the second season of Welcome to Wrexham. This season gives fans insight into the clubs’ fortune across the 2022-23 season. Likewise, their victory over Boreham Wood with a 3-1 win holds a significant part which they covered in the documentary. In November 2023, the series was renewed for a third season and will premiere on FX in 2024.
