Ever since the blockbuster hit that was Deadpool 2, fans and Ryan Reynolds himself have been working around the clock for the release of Deadpool 3 in their own unique ways; fans by constantly piling up a series of requests on the different social media accounts of the makers and Reynolds by currying up Hugh Jackman’s favor. And just when it seemed like the show was on the road, it fell victim to someone else’s crimes during the SAG-AFTRA strikes. But that is not to say that the hype around the movie or the Merc with a Mouth has paled even by a notch.

Deadpool may never say something as optimistic as ‘where there is a will, there is a way’, but he seems to be embodying this sentiment with the latest update regarding the character amidst the extended delays. Fans may not only get to see the antihero but also be in his presence for as long as they want.

Fans are meeting Deadpool 3 sooner than expected

The loud shattering of glass as Disney released its schedule for upcoming movies sans Deadpool 3 was unmissable. But as a franchise that has Ryan Reynolds, who makes too many jokes at his expense at the helm of affairs, Deadpool 3 could not bask in the grief for long. The man behind the three-dimensional antihero, Rob Liefeld, on Sunday, climbed onto the bandwagon of excited fans who had noticed the addition of two new Funko Pops on Amazon UK.

Had Liefeld not hyped the figures by writing “The hype begins”, the Deadpool 3 Funko Pops would have disregarded it as mere speculation. However, with Liefeld also excited, fans know for sure that there is something cooking.

It is unclear as of now what characters from Deadpool 3 will be taking the flattering form of Funko Pops. But in any case, it would not be Ryan Reynolds’ first time getting a glamorous Funky Pop.

Ryan Reynolds gets his own multi-verse of Funko Pops

Funko Pops has long capsulated iconic fictional characters into cute miniatures. However, they seem to have a special place for all things Ryan Reynolds. Given how the figurine brand often takes on superheroes as inspirations, the Deadpool 3 merch was going to come sooner or later. However, the man behind the Deadpool mask and Wade Wilson persona has struck a chord with the figurine franchise beyond his mutant role.

Not only are there several Deadpool Funko Pops, but there are also Free Guy Funko Pops. And as if encapsulating his two most iconic roles into miniature was not enough, Funko Pops has also painted his Wrexham AFC partner like one of their French girls. Given that Rob McElhenney does not play a superhero, the figurine is high on imagination as it makes a “Nightman” out of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Adding to this, soon will be the Deadpool 3 Funko Pops.
