Over the years, Ryan Reynolds has remained involved in various business ventures which boosted his bank balance. In fact, this year in July he signed his first billion-dollar deal of $1.35 billion when wireless firm Mint Mobile was sold to T-Mobile. The 46-year-old would make much money from the deal, but the exact amount remains unclear as Investopedia reported.
Before this deal, his net worth was already over $150 million, which he racked up from his big movie projects. This journey started when the Free Guy star bought some stake in the American brand Aviation Gin. The company was sold two years later to Diageo for $610 million. One year after that profitable deal, the actor joined hands with Mint Mobile. The same year he invested $750 million in Canadian FinTech Wealthsimple and even joined a group of investors supporting Alpine.
It seems like all of his other ventures have what it takes to replicate the success of Wrexham AFC, which he bought with his friend Rob McElhenney. Recently, their takeover marked two years, to which McElhenney expressed his gratitude.
