In a recent departure from his playful digs, Ryan Reynolds bared support for Barbie actress, America Ferrera. Taking to his Instagram stories, the Canadian actor re-shared Amber Tamblyn’s story, who herself had re-shared Reynolds’ repost of Blake Lively’s tear-jerking tribute to Ferrera. While Reynolds had added a Deadpool sticker beside the actresses counting himself in the picture, Tamblyn responded with a caption reading, “Ryan has always wanted to be the honorary 5th sister and today we shall let him”.
The Free Guy actor attributed the actress with “One of the most beautiful performances of the year” close on the heels of the cast of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies’ reunion. The actresses had gathered to honor and celebrate Ferrera’s commendable monologue in Barbie. The empowering speech in the movie summarized all of womanhood’s collective experience and subjugation while inspiring them to reach the heights they are rightfully capable of.
The actor’s show of wit does not stay limited to his personal self as he served a tit-for-tat recently on social media, in character.
Lead actors find a novel way to combat Deadpool 3 leaks
Ever since its inception, Deadpool 3 found itself under a barrage of leaks. However, the latest rounds of incursions became too rampant, to the extent that even Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman had to intervene. The actors shared an open letter persuading fan pages and other possible sources to refrain from fanning the leaks and thus allow the film to shoot in physical locations and utilize practical effects.

Soon after, Reynolds devised an ingenious trick. The actor released a bunch of spoofed photos from the sets. Accompanied by a host of all the popular hashtags, the attempt was to drown any leaks in the sea of his ‘fake’ leaks. Remarkably, all of it sat well in motion with several pages complying with the call and thus, securing a good viewing experience for July 26 on its day of release.
