Starting from the ground up is always a challenging task. To handle the reins of one machine whose gears have stayed clogged for years and expect it to churn like fine oil does not feel very plausible. However, it is precisely what Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have done with Wrexham AFC. Following a $2.5 million takeover of the Welsh football team, the Hollywood duo have leaped great strides in the span of a mere two years while attracting attention from celebrities such as Mike Tyson.

Once again going against popular belief, Reynolds instead of showering Tyson with love for acknowledging Wrexham AFC has chosen to lock horns with him.

The Canadian poster boy of Hollywood has the innate ability to outsmart any with his wits. However, as much acquainted as he may be with superhero fighting styles, it would indeed be quite a task to take upon the British boxer. In his latest Instagram story, Ryan Reynolds called out Tyson Fury with a cheeky poster. It depicted the bruised actor against a gritted Fury as the footer highlighted Wrexham AFC taking on rivals, Morecambe on 25th November.

The reason for the slapstick is a fun callback with the boxing legend who had unleashed his plans for this very match. In his appearance on the RobRyanRed podcast, Fury opined, “I am gonna call out Ryan Reynolds” when asked if he was coming down for the match. The boxer who has defeated big names such as Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder was once keen on acquiring Morecambe before backing out. Regardless, whether he does come down to Racecourse Ground and calls out Reynolds remains to be seen.
