The Hollywood duo spent a lavish $2.4 million on acquiring and turning over the fate of Wrexham. Furthermore, they are hardly pushing back from gaining new ground, as evident in a recent new deal. Thus, when talks float about Birmingham City, exploring its options to sign up Wrexham star Elliot Lee, ex-England international Carlton Palmer, in talks with Football League World opined that he would stand “surprised” if the player even thought of leaving the Wrexham camp.
The Wrexham midfielder played a key role in the team’s breakthrough to the fourth tier of the National League. However, the truth is that they are a championship-level player and hence, attract the attention of the big clubs. Regardless, Palmer expressed his solidarity with Wrexham for their upbeat performance. “However, Championship clubs would have to make an unrefusable offer as Wrexham are ambitious, financially backed and under no pressure to sell.” Therefore, there is absolutely no rationale, at least for him, regarding a transfer.
Meanwhile, in the two or so years since the new owners took over the reins, Wrexham has undergone a sea change of sorts.

The quaint town which was dwindling under failing businesses, leaped to a breath of fresh revival along with their team. The football team, on its end, landed a US tour. Following it, they made themselves known all across the globe with a National League history after fifteen years.
Interestingly, the team’s dressing room has also become a popular destination for many celebrities. Will Ferrell, Hugh Jackman, Paul Rudd, and the Russo Brothers, among many others, have cheered for the team either from the stands or personal visits to the dressing room. Thus, in all reality, the team is a well-grounded haven for all of its players.
