Ahead of Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds may have a bone or two to pick with and his family could be the first victim. Dishing out secrets close on the heels of St. Patrick’s Day, the Canadian actor took to his Instagram story and re-shared a 2016 post from X. While it could be because of excessive pinching for not wearing green or just for the sake of it, the actor’s post brought back the eight-year-old frame in the highlight with many people agreeing with his statement.

“I adore the St. Patrick’s Day tradition of fighting your whole family on the front lawn after sundown,” read the post. Although he has hinted, at times, of his wife, Blake Lively’s “rage”, the need for a full-fledged fight could be anyone’s guess of hilarity. Additionally, the comments on the years-old post also had many echo similar sentiments of how family gatherings seldom did not end well even as they recalled washing it off with laughs later.

Showcasing his trademark wit and humor, the actor donned a similar avatar during this holiday in 2021. At the height of the pandemic, he decided to bring about a strong green concoction of his Aviation Gin to “actually watch” his Green Lantern movie. The highlight came as he live-tweeted his reactions back then, which kept increasing in sarcasm and humor, including taking a moment to remark that even Blake Lively was in the movie.

A juggernaut project as it stands projected, Deadpool & Wolverine not only brings about Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman together on the big screen but also stands as one of the most anticipated and important recent releases for Marvel Studios. However, beyond the core cast and Shawn Levy’s directorial genius, the actor also celebrated the efforts of its writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, its editors, Dean Zimmerman and Shane Reid, as well as all of its technical and background crew.

In the meantime, he engaged with his fans online, speaking about the “rumors of my being alive” and handing out movie advice. Thereafter, he also took on Hugh Jackman for picking Rob McElhenney over him even as he grilled the latter for spending lavishly on Wrexham AFC. Indeed, in all the above scenarios, Ryan Reynolds simply laid out his humor and definitely did not take on a serious tackle, unless he did pick a fight this St. Patrick’s Day.
