Well, McElhenney considers him one of his “closest friends” now! In the three years that he spent with the Free Guy star, McElhenney has grown quite fond of his friend. 

Since both men share an origin story that has its roots in Hollywood, this revelation is also quite shocking. Despite being unacquainted initially, he once claimed to have enjoyed some of the best years of his life with Reynolds. Well, this is a significant sign for Wrexham supporters. With two leaders who are so in sync with each other, the club is bound to enjoy some smooth management, too.
