With the beginning of the production of Deadpool 3, fans are rejoicing the union of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The Canadian actor is reprising his role after 5 years of gap. And Jackman? After retiring from Wolverine, he is reprising his role after 6 years. However, both mutants had to get in shape to reprise their respective roles in Deadpool 3. With the help of a celebrity trainer, Don Saladino, both actors’ journey of being fit became a little easy. Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actor earned massive respect from Saladino because he chose the other way.

To play any given character, actors have to appear physically perfect for the role. We have seen Deadpool previously. He is a hyperactive character. To play the role after all these years, Ryan Reynolds also had to be physically and mentally trained. However, all the intense workouts and crazy diets could have been avoided with the help of technology. But as GQ reported, the Vancouver-born actor went for the intense training and not the CGI. For choosing real training over the computerized physique, Reynolds earned tremendous respect from his trainer, Don Saladino.

Since then, they have worked on several projects together. Talking about his first impression of the Free Guy actor, Saladino said they connected instantly.

He also revealed he and Reynolds had the same fitness goals and they both have a similar body type. Therefore, he was a lot more comfortable with the actor and their journey still continued.
