Not Just Wrexham, but Ryan Reynolds Is Awe of Kenyan World Record Breaking Runner
Ryan Reynolds has been one of Hollywood’s leading men for years now, but the actor has since broken out of the box and tried his hand in other fields. From being a social media personality to having his own business and even owning a football club, he has done everything while balancing his family and career. Though fans are used to seeing the star make sarcastic comments or jokes online, this time the Deadpool star is in the spotlight for being his usual supportive self.
However, the 46-year-old recently proved that even he knows where to be serious. With a surprising reaction to a long-distance runner breaking the world record, Ryan Reynolds has proved yet again that he is a lover, not a fighter.

The one thing that has constantly made him truly stand out from the rest is his ability to see a joke or an opportunity for one where no one else does. However, this time, the star is back in the spotlight for a comment. Instead of a sarcastic remark, the actor was genuinely awestruck by the feat of the marathon runner, Kelvin Kiptum. So much so that he even commented on the X (formerly Twitter) post that announced the runner’s achievement with an “Omg,” when he realized that the young man had set a new world record marathon time.
The achievement was one of Kiptum’s greatest so far. But considering he is only 23 years old, there may be more records he will break over the years. As of now, he broke the previous record set by Eliud Kipchoge by 34 seconds. While that may be an athletic achievement in itself, many supporters of the Kenyan cannot wait to see what he does next.
While this is not the first time that Ryan Reynolds has shown fans his softer side, most of the actor’s online love seems to be directed at his football team, which he co-owns with Rob McElhenney.
