After Daniel Craig’s departure from the iconic franchise of 007, actors have been in line to play the character of James Bond. While fans have their own demands for the actor, the franchise is still not sure whom to pick. Amidst the confusing status of the next face of the iconic character, Ana de Armas has this surprising pick for the role.
The Blonde actress herself appeared in the 2021 film, No Time to Die alongside Daniel Craig. She portrayed the character of Paloma in the film. However, despite being there for a brief moment, she became the highlight of the flick. Now, the Bond girl wants the 27-year-old Irish actor, Paul Mescal, to be the next James Bond.

Although the franchise is still searching for the perfect fit for the role, there are many actors, including the Bridgerton star, Regé-Jean Page, who want to be 007. However, there are fans who want Aaron Taylor-Johnson as well. And others have the Superman star, Henry Cavill, in mind. Even The Witcher star, previously auditioned for the role, but he lost it to Daniel Craig.
Now, after all these years, the British actor himself expressed his wish to play the role as well. But, The Gray Man actress has this Irish actor in mind.

The Oscar-nominated actress is set to appear in an AppleTV+ film, Ghosted alongside Chris Evans. Moreover, she is going to appear in the John Wick spin-off film Ballerina as well. The spin-off will star Ian McShane, Keanu Reeves, Lance Reddick, and Anjelica Huston. It is the first-ever spin-off of the John Wick franchise that would tell the story between the events in Chapters – 3 and 4. The film will hit the theaters on the 7th of June, 2024.
The actress is also going to star in the remake of the 2000 Korean action film Joint Security Area. The Gladiator screenwriter David Franzoni will write and direct the film. It stars Demián Bichir as well. With these upcoming projects, the 34-year-old actress seems to have a busy schedule.
