Her now-confirmed relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce provides a unique amalgamation of music and the sports world.
The bulk of Hollywood’s A-listers, including Katy Perry and Ryan Reynolds, hailed the pairing. However, the actress has now added the NFL commissioner to the list.

The NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, stated in an exclusive interview with CBS Mornings that the attention Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s courtship is bringing to the Kansas City Chiefs and the league is fantastic for the game. He went on to say that the Grammy winner is an “unbelievable artist.” and has brought together more Swifties and NFL fans in some ways with her romance with Kelce, as evidenced by the Swifties’ increased attendance at games.
Swift’s influence is limitless, as evidenced by the fact that when she attended Kelce’s game in October, NFL viewership eclipsed the previous Super Bowl. According to NBC Sports, the starlet drew about 27 million views. The viewership numbers are impressive, but what’s more noteworthy is that a large portion of those views (53% of all views) were from teenage girls. Not only that, but sales of Kelce’s jersey increased by a whopping 400%.
Swift and Kelce’s romance is bringing a lot of good fortune to the sport. However, before Roger Goodell, another NFL executive shared his excitement over the newly confirmed couple.

Magic Johnson, the co-owner of the Washington Commanders and a beloved former NBA player, had given his blessing to Swift and Kelce’s relationship. While appearing as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the former player responded with excitement when Kimmel joked that he should let one of his players date Taylor Swift and that he would “make so much money.”
Johnson said, “exactly, well, the NFL is very happy about that whole situation.” He also expressed his support for the duo, whose love story began in July of this year when the athlete attempted and failed to deliver her a friendship bracelet with his phone number written on it during the Eras tour in Kansas City. However, the singer recently put the rumors to rest when she went into his arms and kissed the player after her show in Argentina.
