Nonetheless, there is one such Sussex controversy, already proven that it was Meghan Markle who took the call. It is none other than that Netflix bombshell Harry & Meghan released last December.

Months after the explosive series hit our screens, Creator Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan have laid out a clear picture of the entire process. The duo sat down with Netflix Queue to answer a bunch of questions regarding the six-part Netflix special. However, what caught major highlights was the fact that Liz Garbus actually conceived the idea from Meghan Markle. The hosts asked her to elaborate on how Garbus could come up with an idea to make anything as such.

However, replying to the same, Liz Garbus, the Oscar-nominated Hollywood director, said she initially got in touch with the Duchess for a different insignificant project. The project that Markle wanted to take up focused primarily on juvenile girls meeting idealistic women of history. It was while discussing the same when Markle stumbled upon the idea of laying bare everything they can. “Meghan brought up the idea of this project,” confirmed Liz Garbus. It was the Duchess, behind the groundbreaking explosive, Netflix bombshell.

The director also revealed that she has never met her mother. Garbus even made sure of how she made sure what the Prince wanted. Garbus did her best to confirm that it was the joint decision of the couple. Before getting her hands on it, however, she took the permission of both sides. The director confirmed that the Duke is as determined to share their stories just as the Duchess, Meghan Markle.

Before this, the creators also shed light on how the entire filming process has been. With all the challenges that dawned upon the team, the creators had made it clear the challenges actually turned out to be real opportunities to make money.
