Deadpool 3 is raining updates with its prime-time exposures and with a touch of, well, Deadpool leaks. At a time when Ryan Reynolds is putting his everything to fight the unwarranted leaching out of filming details, a piece of interesting news made its way to the forecast. However, this time, it is not a spill, but a source of genesis. 

The much-appreciated partnership of Vanessa Carlysle and Wade Wilson is making way for the big screen yet again. And with that, Morena Baccarin is all set to reprise her role as Vanessa Carlysle in the upcoming flick.

Morena Baccarin confirms her comeback to Deadpool 3

Vanessa’s death in Deadpool 2 erupted fans into utter disappointment, leading to her revival soon in the post-credits scene. However, back in April, the return of Baccarin as Vanessa was showered with some conditioning as was revealed by her to Michael Rosenbaum. As a result, the outcome seemed quite bleak to the fans. But as per her latest interview with Josh Wilding about Fast Charlie, Baccarin verified that her return for the threequel is indeed happening.

Vanessa’s on-screen partnership with Wade Wilson had previously garnered much of the franchise’s attention, even though Marvel Studios did not confirm her casting. While in talks with Wilding, Baccarin also revealed that the team “did work out” for the upcoming Marvel genius. She further confirmed that her “shooting days” for the flick have also been completed. Leaning on a bit of a tease, she also said that the “fans” might be “in for a fun surprise”.

Delving into the cliffhanger that the sequel has armored the fans in, Vanessa’s return with Baccarin’s depiction could be a superhit move for the Marvel Studios.

Morena Baccarin’s depiction of Vanessa could reveal a different side 

Having complimented the quick-witted Merc-with-a-Mouth with abundant humor herself, Vanessa’s role became pivotal for the franchise long ago. The sequel’s post-credits had already gotten fans over the board with excitement owing to Vanessa’s resurrection. Now in her interview, her revelation cueing at her depiction with a unique angle is making the world wonder about the forthcoming.

Amidst the drolleries of Deadpool leaks and Reynolds fighting it, Baccarin also teased that her return could be timed for her to “suit up”. The possibility of her taking up the saddles of Copycat seemed likely. However, she also shed light on how she has been “completing with a large universe”. But in the hopes of comic-accurate portrayal for the threequel, there remains anticipation that the July release for 2024 will witness her “suit up”.
