The reports for the movie have been rampant, leaving fans stunned with a never-ending list of cast members.

In the midst of this whole hype, Marvel has announced the return of another beloved actor who has worked with this motormouth mercenary. And it’s none other than the cynical killer of universes, Thanos aka Josh Brolin.

Marvel Studios is ready to bring back Cable on the big screen 

Twitter user Deadpool Updates recently rolled out a new piece of news on their Twitter account. The post revealed that this superhero universe is planning to cast Josh Brolin as Cable in a new project. Although he will not be returning to Deadpool 3, the future of his character isn’t coming to an end anytime soon.

The talk about his return has been moving around for a long time. Back in 2020, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld talked about the possibility of him getting a spin-off film. The director told Collider that he sees Cable having his own movie series and that he can exist solely without the support of the Deadpool franchise. So it seems that they are now ready to explore Cable by putting him in the limelight.

This news has come days after the franchise announced the arrival of another A-list actress in the movie. Well, at this point, we might not be able to get all the answers to how they are going to depict so many actors in one frame. However, we do know that the Canadian superstar did have a hand in bringing Brolin as Cable.

Ryan Reynolds thought Josh Brolin is the perfect incarnation of Cable

Back in 2017, before Josh Brolin appeared in Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds believed that this actor is the best man to play Cable. In his interview with Fandango, the 46-year-old stated that the Thanos star has all the qualities to embody this character. He revealed that he has spent much time on Josh Brolin’s punches and this tells him that his depiction would be interesting.

He praised his fellow actor for having the perfect verbal and physical capabilities that match this time-traveling mercenary. Even before the release of their movie, he confirmed that Brolin was going to be epic. As it turned out, the 55-year-old was fantastic and is ready to get his own project with the same character.
