While there is no doubt that Ryan Reynold is a man of many talents, the actor is still wading into unchartered waters. With the delays for his upcoming collaboration with Hugh Jackman seeming as though they will never end, the actor decided to lighten the mood. Like his usual comedic posts on Instagram, his production company, Maximum Effort, recently shared a clip from his latest project, Bedtime Stories with Ryan. Although it may have started off as the tale of Red Riding Hood, he ended up adding his own spin to it.

In Reynolds’ version of the story, the huntsman comes in to find the Big Bad Wolf asleep in the grandmother’s bed. While the real story saw the man slay the wicked wolf with his axe, the 47-year-old chose to keep his story PG for the kids. He could be heard narrating that the man “tickled the wolf” as the animation portrayed him pulling out a feather from his pocket in an attempt to save the grandmother.

Back in June, Ryan Reynolds came out with his first original series, Bedtime Stories with Ryan. The actor, who is adored for his sarcasm and R-rated humor, teamed up with Fubo, to give fans his most father-like role yet. With 15 episodes of Reynolds in his pajamas reading classic childhood bedtime stories, the actor revealed the reason behind the series. While most parents are used to reading bedtime tales for their kids, Ryan Reynolds took it to a whole other level with his series.

In fact, he even called the show a “dream” of his and revealed that he had drawn inspiration from his own nighttime routine with his daughters, who he shares with Blake Lively. Even though most stars would not want their audience to fall asleep while they were on screen, the Free Guy star even claimed that the program was created with the “goal of putting people to sleep.” While the stories may never go out of style, Ryan Reynolds’ soothing voice is only guaranteed to elevate the entire experience.
