The promotion to the National Leagues was a pleasant relief after years, but season 1 did a great job at showing us all the sides of the story. It dwelled on how the Welsh club had its fair share of failures, missing the League Two of football. Moreover, a review by Collider revealed how season 2 covered the massive impact of the previous season. The reviewer shared her doubts about the “charm” of the next season. But to a pleasant surprise, the storyline was a much deeper dive into the club’s journey. It “lost none of its heart” and staying true to the “authenticity“, made it even better.

Not only did it carry the show to a global audience but also pumped up the spirits of all the football fans around the world. While the Deadpool actor and his co-owner did a great job at engaging fans in games, the second season will delve into the opinions of fans of other clubs too. The review also revealed that fans would get a chance to see more of Paul Mullin and superfan Millie Tipping.
