It has been official for quite some time now that James Gunn and Peter Safran have taken over the DC Studios. They aim to reboot the entire universe to give it another direction. With upcoming projects, all eyes are now on the new DC bosses. Amidst the big change in the DCU, Bradley Cooper is rumored to join the Studio after losing Green Lantern to Ryan Reynolds.

12 years ago, it was a question of existence for the Vancouver-born actor, as his Green Lantern failed miserably. It might be a blessing in disguise for Cooper, as he achieved a lot during those years. However, as ComicBookCast2 speculated, Bradley Cooper might finally get his DC call to play the older Batman in Gunn’s upcoming Batman film.

The American Sniper star once admitted he even mimicked Christian Bale’s Batman while auditioning to play Green Lantern. Unfortunately, the production team was looking for more comic personality which Cooper could not deliver. Therefore, he lost the role, and it went to Ryan Reynolds.
