The Suits actress has been married to Prince Harry since 2018 now. But right from the get-go, the British tabloids brought out stories of the Duchess. The actress took a break from her career in Hollywood after being married into the royal family. While some contacts remain, she let go of some others after the beginning of her new life.

But since the news of their love story came out, there were questions about how the two met. She had not made into working in big Hollywood movies and claimed to have not known about Prince Harry when she went to the UK. But stories from those stories continue to come out. British actress Millie Mackintosh has now dropped a story from old times.

Did Meghan Markle ditch her celebrity contacts for royalty? In her parenting podcast, Mumlemmas & More with Millie & Charlie, the actress went back in the past to share an incident that disrupted her relationship with the Duchess. “Felt like [Meghan] kind of told me to f*** off, basically,” the actress explained about the text she got from Markle. Apparently, the Britisher reached out to her friend when tabloids started attacking her.

It all began when the Made in Chelsea actress met in Istanbul during the opening of a fancy actress. With her being a fan, the two became quick friends. When Markle went to the UK, she had no contacts, and the actress helped her with a ‘Black book’ that had a list of hotspots and contacts of big people. The Duchess informed her of messaging Prince Harry back then, but little did anyone know where it would lead to.

She is not the first person who recalled a similar story. A few years ago, someone else did too.

When the Duchess was still new in the UK, she and Piers Morgan decided to meet. This was back in 2016, when she visited the country during spring break. The two met at a bar and, as per him, had a good time. He then helped her into a cab, which took her to a party. That was the party where she met Prince Harry, and that was the last night that Morgan ever heard from her again. He later found out about her and Prince Harry’s love story through the tabloids.
