Meanwhile, reminiscing about the former monarch, Kate Middleton paid Queen Elizabeth homage through an exquisite necklace set of George VI Festoon. In fact, she also slipped in something special for her newly crowned father-in-law as well. As reported earlier, the floral Jess Collet x Alexander McQueen headpiece was also a subtle nod to King Charles.

The same now forever belongs to the now Princess of Wales who has also worn it on multiple events. Meanwhile, her grandmother-in-law’s pieces of jewelry too are no new surprise to the Princess.

Middleton has appeared at various public outings wearing some of the most notable ornaments of the late Queen. This necklace set, however, dates back to 1950 when King George VI first commissioned it for his eldest, Queen Elizabeth.
