We have seen him play the caricaturist Wanda Wayne in arguably one of the most iconic sketches from The Living Color, making us bust a lung. We have also seen him play the menacing supervillain, Electro, in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In conclusion, we have seen Jamie Foxx play a plethora of characters, each presenting a new element from the vast spectrum of emotions. But it was only in 2023, when he suffered a medical complication, that we got to witness a vulnerable, resilient, and humane Jamie Foxx.

Always the life of the party to the point that even the epitome of poker face, Kanye West, cracks a toothy smile next to him, the academy-winning actor shared an emotional video on his Instagram. This marked the first time in a while since the actor has done any public activity owing to his hospitalization. Foxx appeared at his humane best as he almost broke into tears while expressing he has been through hell and back.

It would not be a Jamie Foxx video if he did not attempt a joke or two. Reflecting on the rumors of him going blind, the actor played silly with his eyeballs to prove he was not.
