“It’s f**king real” – After Blake Lively’s Suspicion, Shawn Levy Confirms Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Bromance
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s bromance is a Hollywood love story that even Deadpool could not write a better script for. From trolling each other on social media to teaming up for charity, these two are a dynamic duo people cannot get enough of. But unlike the ordinary pair of friends in Hollywood, Reynolds and Jackman pretend to be each other’s worst enemies, all the while harboring the best of friendships.
As the two join forces on screen after decades to mark their entry into the big league superheroes club, i.e. Marvel, for Deadpool 3, the movie’s director has blown their cover.

If a passerby came across Ryan Reynolds’ and Hugh Jackman’s social media profiles, they would be fooled by the unhinged trolling that the actors unleash upon one another. But a fact known to their fans is that the actors, despite their hectic schedules, have always made time for each other. And as if that was not enough, Shawn Levy, in his interview with the Los Angeles Times at the Toronto International Film Festival 2023, said “It’s f**king real” about their bromance.
Just to make sure that audiences did not take it lightly, the director compared it to his own relationship with the Wrexham AFC owner. And if Shawn Levy is comparing their bromance to his own with Reynolds’, then it must be as the director says, “f**king real.” After all, the two cannot seem to stop working with each other.
This trope of being the biggest roastmaster for his loved ones is frequent in Reynolds’ life. Blake Lively would not mind testifying to that. Another thing she will not mind testifying to is the bromance between the Deadpool actors.

While Ryan Reynolds may have surprised everyone with his recent birthday wish for his wife Blake Lively, the couple’s history of being the opposite of lovey-dovey on social media is well known. A prime example would be when the mother of four decided to straight up expose her husband about his relationship with Hugh Jackman.
Under a post that featured both Reynolds and Jackman with matching smiles and outfits disguised as an unintentional run-in at Jackman’s coffee shop, Blake Lively asked if the extra distance between the two was her husband’s way of trying to hide the reality. The reality in question, according to Lively, is the fact that he loves him more than her. And while the exaggeration did not go unmissed, this is just one of the many tales about Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s bromance.
