Romance and comedy together with a bit of action are like double cheese pizza with extra chicken toppings, you always want it more- Enter Apple TV Plus’s brand new star-studded gig, Ghosted. The pacy popcorn entertainment with deluxe leads goes down painlessly even if you forget it the next minute. And guess what? The part-action part rom-com comes with its own set of surprises and will have you attached even before you know it. From Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds to Captain America’s favorite, Sam Wilson AKA Anthony Mackie, you might as well find an Avengers ensemble here!
Ghosted apparently sees a perfect man with a lack of adventures meet the love (adventure) of his life when de Armas’s secret agent has him all smitten with her charm. And if you check your brains on the couch, the two A-listers provide what you may call unpretentious fun. And while the plot may become secondary to its leads’ Tracy and Hepburn-like dynamics, but it will eventually seem like a parallel superhero universe where Sam Wilson and Buckie Barns once again unite to kill Steve Rogers.

Yes! You guessed it right. Antonie Mackie and Sebastian Stan make a cameo along with John Cho, some halfway through the movie as bounty hunters. These are after de Armas’s CIA agent Sadie, but mistake Evans’s Cole as their target. Furthermore, these are not the only Marvel stars who make a cameo.
To make it all the more interesting, they also have the Merc with the Mouth’s Ryan Reynolds on board. Well, he does not share the same reason as that of Stan and Mackie’s to be at war with poor Cole, but the twist gets personal here. Reynolds is a former love interest of Sadie and would do anything to keep her and Cole apart. Interesting right? You can watch this star-studded ensemble on Apple TV+ right away.
