In a recent Instagram session with her fans, Paltrow answered some of her fandom’s burning questions. From her friendship status with Friends star Jennifer Aniston to a trickier one involving Dakota Johnson, the Iron Man actress revealed many things.

The Iron Man actress and the Rachel Green star have a history that stretches back to the early 90s. Rather, even much before, Brad Pitt entered the scene. In her recent Instagram ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, Paltrow took her time to answer some of the most interesting questions thrown at her. In response to a question asking if she was friends with the Friends star, Paltrow replied with a heartwarming picture of the duo with the caption, “Yes I am so lucky.”

The photo had Aniston hugging Paltrow while landing an adorable kiss on her cheeks. Interestingly, the duo was once contesting against one another for the lead role in Richard Linklater’s Before Sunrise. There on, Paltrow went on to date Brad Pitt about the same time when Aniston’s Friends began to air. However, the Seven actress bowed out of the relationship in 1997. Come 2000, Aniston tied the knot with Pitt in a whirlwind marriage that lasted five years. However, the two actresses have ever since remained bonded to a committed friendship.

A fan also posted another burning question on Paltrow’s relations with Dakota Johnson, who is dating her former husband, Chris Martin.

The question was of sheer interest given that Dakota Johnson is currently dating Paltrow’s ex-husband, Chris Martin. However, the answer came even more beautiful as the Marvel actress replied that her friendship with Johnson was wonderful. “We’re actually very good friends. I love her so much. She’s an adorable, wonderful person,” she summed up. The Coldplay singer was married to Paltrow from 2003 to 2016 and shares two kids with her.

The ex-couple still maintains amicable relations with one another. Martin has been dating Johnson for nearly six years while Paltrow married Brad Falchuk in 2018. Thus, in line with Aniston being good exes with Brad Pitt, Paltrow too has followed suit. Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson has entered Marvel’s interconnected web with Madame Web, where she stars alongside Sydney Sweeney.
