Why Jameela Jamil said no to a lifetime opportunity?

Jameela Jamil recently sat down with Penn Badgley, Nava Kavelin, and Sophie Ansari on Podcrushed. During her appearance on the 38th episode, she also revealed that she was going to be part of You season 4. The podcaster-turned-actor stated that she was not open to doing intimate scenes so she ultimately turned down the audition. “My character was supposed to be quite sexy, and I pulled out of the audition because I am so shy about anything sexy that I can’t,” Jamil added.

Moving forward the 37-year-old addressed the Gossip Girl alum for denying to do intimate scenes. She praised the actor for becoming an example for others that they can draw their boundaries. However, she also expressed her regret that she should have done the show and not let these things stop her.

Jamil, who hosts the podcast Bad Dates, even asked the show’s creator Sera Gamble for fewer intimate scenes in season 4. Meanwhile, as of now, the thriller drama is moving towards its ending and fans will say goodbye to this handsome killer in season 5.
