As Christmas descends on Hollywood today, the silver screen shall take a backseat to the silver bells ringing in the holiday cheer of the holiday’s glitzy celebrations. Well, it looks like the suave Wolverine, Hugh Jackman is ready to unwrap some moments of joy for himself and his many fans too. Some may say that the X-Men actor has already given fans the best gift of 2023 by slipping into the third installment of the Marvel cinematic saga of Deadpool. However, he does have another gift in store.

A winter-themed version of his and Ryan Reynolds’ characters in a never-before-seen avatar. 

Hugh Jackman wishes his fans a Merry Christmas with this

Just a little while ago, Jackman shared a clip to his Instagram story that can only be described as a twisted version of a holiday greetings card. The goofy picture, a fan art, through which the 55-year-old spread the Christmas cheer online featured him as Wolverine, Reynolds as Deadpool, and the notorious Dogpool, all clad in pink rabbit onesies. As if the jumpsuits were not enough, they came paired with furry slides with dog ears!

The image, which was generated by Mutant 101 through AI, was certainly not your usual Christmas wish, yet a perfect ode to the unpredictable world of Deadpool. Decked in cotton candy-colored jumpsuits, the three stars of the upcoming Deadpool flick looked awkward and hilarious, as the artist intended. However, the stand-out feature was certainly the Easter egg in the form of Dogpool appearing in the animation. 

As the latest addition to Deadpool 3, Dogpool has returned looking cuter than ever. 

Dogpool captures the attention of Deadpool fanatics

The upcoming Deadpool flick from the much-celebrated franchise is believed to be over 3 hours long with more cameos than fans can keep track of. Yet, the one feature many are looking forward to the most is that of Dogpool, with its tongue longer than the movie’s run-time. Ever since the filming of the long-awaited flick has picked up traction again, so has Dogpool’s Instagram account. 

From some adorable clicks with its belly hanging out to a bizarre scene of it licking away at Ryan Reynolds AKA Wade Wilson’s face, the social media page of Deadpool’s animal variant has been belting out hilarious content lately. It is safe to assume that this has only driven fans’ intrigue regarding its role in Deadpool 3 higher. All that is left to see now is if Wolverine will receive a pet of his own in the 2024 flick too or not.
