How Prince Harry’s Desire to Have a Picture With Rob McElhenney Turned Into a Hilarious Story for This $25 Million Actor
The rather rebellious royal, Prince Harry still holds much love for the most British thing of all: soccer. As the sport’s wave slowly sweeps across the US, soccer is gaining the spotlight right in the 39-year-old’s backyard. With players like Lionel Messi joining the fold through Inter Miami FC, it has been a pretty exciting time for soccer fanatics in the States. And the prince is reveling in it all by showing up at most matches that feature the Argentinian champion.
Earlier this month, he and Wrexham AFC co-owner, Rob McElhenney were joined by a That 80s Show actor at one such match.

In the stands of the DRV PNK Stadium stood various Hollywood A-listers on 4th September. Besides the prince, Rob McElhenney and his It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-star Glenn Howerton were in attendance too. On an episode of the WMMR’s Preston and Steve Daily Podcast, Howerton revealed that Prince Harry, who is possibly a “Wrexham fan” asked McElhenney for a photo. So, Howerton grabbed the opportunity and inserted himself in the frame too!
When relaying the story, Howerton seemed as smug about his cheeky achievement as Prince Harry looked at an earlier game of Inter Miami’s he attended with Meghan Markle. While his wife was absent from this match, her husband surely enjoyed the star-studded night. After all, besides Howerton’s hilarious interaction with him, another celebrity probably got a chuckle out of him too!
After all, the comedic legend, Will Ferrell was also present in the stands that night.
