“Holy sh*t” – Surprisingly Accurate ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Trailer Recreation Wins Over Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman finally landed together as Marvel Studios dropped the first teaser trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine during the Super Bowl. After months of anticipation, delays, and rumors, fans finally had their first clear look at the third iteration of the Merc-with-a-Mouth and his first appearance in the first-ever R-rated MCU flick. As the trailer soon rose to trending highs, many recreations as well as reactions surfaced online, but none had managed to evoke a reaction from the lead star until now.
A fan-made minute-by-minute rework of the movie’s trailer left the celebrated star awestruck, especially for its creative uphill.

As Deadpool prepares to walk inside the Marvel multiverse, fans kick-started their own cheering with cosplays and reactions. However, an animator named Trevor Carlee jumped the extra mile as he recreated the recently debuted Deadpool & Wolverine trailer using nothing but Lego pieces. Additionally, the artist also managed to film and piece together each frame exactly as it appeared in the teaser leading Ryan Reynolds to comment, “My god, this is wonderful. Holy sh*t”.
A master of the arts and arguably the best actor suited to play Deadpool, Reynolds, being awestruck over a fan-made art, spoke for its credibility and ingenuity. The Lego trailer used accurate-looking pieces for the characters as well as the background shots going as far as to include minute details such as the TVA’s prune sticks glowing up and the Secret Wars comic easter egg. As for the actual trailer, it went on to establish itself as the most-viewed teaser of all time.
In the meantime, rumors started flowing in of the possible involvement of Taylor Swift.

A few days after the trailer, a promotional item launched in the form of friendship bracelets, one for each of the two main characters and another for its release date. However, the accessory’s unique attachment to the Swifties had them convinced of a sly easter egg.

Rumors have Taylor Swift playing the role of Dazzler in Deadpool & Wolverine. The mutant can, in the comics, create light shows and absorb to manipulate sound and light, often relating her to music. While no official clarification has come forth, the reality may become evident once the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer releases on July 26, 2024.
