Unfortunately, fans would not be able to see one of the leading cast members in the final season. But like the last five spectacular seasons, viewers will again watch something incredible. Season 6 will focus on the monarchy between the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s. This means the show will trace back the tragic death of Princess Diana through a car accident. However, “the exact moment of the crash impact will not be shown,” Netflix said in a statement.
Imelda Staunton will reprise her role of the Queen for the second time. Other cast members include Viola Prettejohn, Elizabeth Debicki, Lesley Manville, Dominic West, Olivia Williams, Jonathan Pryce, and Khalid Abdalla.
