Now the beloved co-owner of the club is expressing his excitement on social media after the team entered the new season with a big splash.

People who follow Wrexham AFC regularly might know that the team won over Wigan in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. The Red Dragons defeated Wigan Athletic in the first round following a 4-2 penalty shootout. And Ryan Reynolds took to X to celebrate this victory. “Another year of hearts jumping outta chests like we’re in a fu*king Aliens movie,” tweeted the actor.

Both the teams stood strong over the course of 90 minutes, but Wrexham players turned out faultless at the end. While the following three are August 15 with Walsall, August 19  with Swindon Town, and August 26 with Barrow.
