Sophia, the world’s first robot citizen and a United Nations Innovation Ambassador, is making big waves on her career trajectory. The AI humanoid who can understand emotions and hold insightful conversations once had a date with Will Smith. Now, after five years of that eventful moment, the robot has made her modeling debut. Rubbing shoulders among the likes of Gigi Hadid, Sophia headlined a showcase for BOSS at the Milan Fashion Week. To applaud her on this achievement, Will Smith shot up a hilarious Instagram post.

The humanoid donned the latest of BOSS’ ‘CorpCore’ collection, completed with metal boots, a striped jacket, and a plaid long skirt. The robot, who had once left Smith smitten, was in Milan to greet guests at the ‘Techtopia’ showcase. Sophia had run wildly famous after skirting all the flirting attempts by the Collateral Beauty actor. Finally, the hilarious event which lies etched onto fans’ core memory was when Smith leaned in for a kiss and she politely asked him to be friends first.

Smith is no stranger to robots. Long before his encounter with Sophia, the actor already had his brush with AI and humanoids with his 2004 sci-fi flick – I, Robot. The question is, following his ex-date’s success, will Smith revisit the movie?

However, despite the date and now modeling success of Sophia, there apparently is no news of any sequel or reboot to the 2004 flick. The Oscar-winning actor is already working on several new and returning projects.

The 54-year-old actor is reprising his role as Mike Lowrey, opposite Martin Lawrence as Detective Lieutenant Marcus Miles Burnett in Bad Boys 4. The movie is a sequel to the 2020 released Bad Boys For Life. Additionally, it is also set to star Vanessa Hudgens and DJ Khaled. The actor is also helming the sequel to his 2007 movie I Am Legend. Finally, an action flick titled Bounty is also in development.
