Following landslide box office wins with the last two Avengers movies and a current slump in phase five, an upcoming ray of hope now shines. At a time when the fandom stands divided and the hype subsided came a riveting update of Ryan Reynolds straight from Deadpool 3.

Interestingly, a surfaced photo has come right from within the movie and not its set, giving fans a first-ever look at the upcoming extravaganza.

As the days start counting themselves down to July 26 and mark the release of Deadpool 3, sheer anticipation has finally come calling. A very first look at Wade Wilson aka Deadpool alongside the new entrant, Dogpool, just surfaced on the Internet. The photo has all the trademark scarring and burnt skin look that fans have stayed witness to ever since Ryan Reynolds debuted in 2016’s Deadpool. The photo also marked the first-ever bit of official insight into the highly awaited project.

The pictures also showcased the in-movie look at the straight-from-the-comics French pitbull variant of the character whose appearance the Canadian actor had himself announced. Looking far from any ordinary pet, Dogpool featured the same characteristic mutation as Deadpool. Meanwhile, with no official synopsis from Marvel Studios yet, a working theory revolves around the TVA. Thanks to incursions in the multiverse, Reynolds’ character may aid the agency in recruiting prime versions of several characters, including Wolverine, leading to a gigantic crossover.

Along the lines of expectations, the upcoming flick seems to be ballooning with each passing day both in cast and plot.

In terms of expectations for Deadpool 3, there is no roof to the ceiling. The Ryan Reynolds starrer simply keeps on inflating and adding details while amping up fans’ hype ever so strongly. Recent updates have hinted at a trip down nostalgia lane with a ton of easter eggs starting from the very beginnings of the MCU to make their way into the movie. More recently, another update teased further strong evidence of The Void from Loki making a potential appearance.

Meanwhile, things have also kept upsizing with the cast. The entirety of the original group from the previous two Fox Deadpool movies is to return alongside the original X-Men starting from the very first one in 2000. Additionally, MCU heavyweights such as Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff and Kang may also land an appearance.
