That Ryan Reynolds is a gift of god became clear when the actor granted a lifelong wish of fans by bringing back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. The journey was not all sunshine and rainbows as evidenced by their multiple (fake) fights on social media which at one point escalated to Hugh Jackman asking people to urinate on Reynolds’ Hollywood Walk of Fame. Despite the actors only coming together for Deadpool 3 after X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, the two of them were really out of each others’ realms.

Their fake feud has marked many comedic gold moments on the Internet, but nothing comes close to Hugh Jackman starring in Reynolds’ Aviation Gin commercial and humiliating the Deadpool actor. Jackman’s “Ryan Reynolds is a complete and total *********” while promoting Aviation American Gin is one for the books. And almost half a decade later as he sips another drink, that is all fans can think about.

If there is one thing to know about Ryan Reynolds, apart from the fact that he is Hollywood’s favorite funny guy and most sought-after actor, is the fact that he is astonishingly consistent with his advertisements. Round the clock, the brands associated with him release a new commercial that either features Ryan Reynolds or has his name written all over the script. He pounces on every opportunity that can help in promoting the brand. And what better opportunity than Jackman posting a video of himself drinking?

Since the 54-year-old actor undergoes extreme training to transform into Wolverine, he is straying clear of most alcoholic beverages. ‘All work and no Gin makes Hugh a dull boy’ is presumably what went on in the actor’s mind as he posted himself sipping a drink with the caption “a rare occasion.” A rare occasion indeed as he found his timeline looking more like that of his Deadpool 3 costar as it was filled with Aviation Gin quips.

Fans were quick to add comments asking Jackman if he was drinking Aviation Gin in the clip. One commentator went as far as pointing out Wolverine’s supposed alcohol preferences. But the Australian actor once managed to get cast as the Adamantium-skulled X-Men member despite not fulfilling a major criteria, so perhaps a change of drinks will not be a big deal. Meanwhile, another fan had an interesting suggestion for the next chapter of the social media rivalry Jackman and Reynolds have.

While fans are convinced Jackman was drinking Aviation Gin in the clip, this post raises the question of Jackman’s involvement in endorsing Reynolds’ brand.

Among the numerous star-studded commercials of Aviation Gin, there lies one of Hugh Jackman as well. In their famous ‘Truce’ video, the actors decided to mend ways by making a commercial for each other’s brands.

Jackman made one for Aviation Gin. However, it is reported that the Wolverine fame is more of a Guinness drinker after The Irish Post captured his first reaction to the beer. For the most part, owing to his field of work, Hugh Jackman does not normally drink a lot even famously going without water to look extra ripped on the sets of Wolverine.
