Earlier today, an X (formerly known as Twitter) page shared the news regarding a documentary on Musk’s life gearing into the works. The indie film studio: A24, which has significantly grown in the last decade, has already jumped in to back the project financially. Recently, the studio also began a project with megastars: Scarlett Johnsson and Pedro Pascal. Meanwhile, the director who will helm the project for A24 is none other than Darren Aronofsky.
Considering Aronofsky’s prowess as a director which is reflected in the blockbusters Black Swan and Mother, Musk’s biopic would be in safe hands if he is confirmed as the director. Additionally, A24 is famed for uniquely mesmerizing projects like Moonlight. Since the biopic is taken on by these two, it is bound to be a marvel to behold. After all, the last picture that saw this pairing was deemed a masterpiece.
Well, Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale, in collaboration with A24, even won an Academy Award.

In 2022, the cinematic drama tale of The Whale was masterfully brought to life by the visionary Aronofsky and its star-studded cast. It featured stellar performances by Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, and Hong Chau. Later, Fraser was awarded an Oscar for his acting in it too. The flick that was distributed by A24 dived into the depths of human emotion, spectacularly in keeping with the studio’s track of acclaimed indie flicks.
Known for its unique brand of storytelling, A24 turned each frame of the flick into a portal looking into art. Their specialty lies not just in producing indie flicks but in weaving tales that go beyond mainstream predictability. When combined with Darren Aronofsky’s immense talent, the Elon Musk biopic could see every bit of success that The Whale did before it.
