Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney since overtaking the Wrexham FC club, despite having a set goal, have been with their team through thick and thin. Tossing away the stereotype of being Hollywood owners just watching the games from the sidelines and banking off it, the R&R duo has been greatly supportive of their team. And this played greatly in their favor, as they were hailed by the entirety of Welsh and also earned automatic promotion to the Football League. Following the victory, the club went on a Las Vegas trip of a lifetime. Minus its trusted wingback, Callum McFadzean.

McFadzean had to skip the trip consisting of champagne worth $200 and scrumptious Chinese food at MGM Grand Hotel’s pride- Hakkasan, as he had to attend to more important matters. But that does not mean he does not want a go at it.

The football club owners have proved to be no lesser than a magical lamp for the Wrexham FC club. Especially as they told them to “leave our cards at home” as per Paul Mullin’s statement to GQ. And if you combine this with the fun social media posts generated by the Red Dragons, the Las Vegas trip was truly a dream. However, fans were not alone in wishing they could be a part of it, as even Callum McFadzean, who had to opt-out, felt like he missed out.

Obviously I was disappointed to miss the trip,” the Wrexham FC player did not sugarcoat, according to Goal.

McFadzean had played with great dedication throughout the season except for the last three matches owing to a red card he earned during the match with Barnett. However, the reason he couldn’t make it was due to a much-needed hernia operation.

Clearly a dedicated man, McFadzean has proposed another Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-funded trip but only after they have something to celebrate again. “Hopefully we get the job done again next season so we get to do it again,” said McFadzean.

However, it isn’t all work and no play for the Wrexham wingback who will be joining the team for friendlies in America.

At the peak of the season when the Red Dragons signed Ben Foster in a surprise move, Reynolds brought Blake Lively and daughters, also known as “his home,” to cheer for the team as they played against York City. After several victories and a promotion later, Reynolds is now ready to bring his team home to America.

The Deadpool actor will not be the only Hollywood A-lister awaiting them, as Natalie Portman has already called dibs on a friendly match with the professionals. The Welsh football club is set to play against Manchester United and Chelsea during their pre-season tour in America.
