Director Shawn Levy Makes A Major Promise for ‘Deadpool 3’ Amidst Taylor Swift Casting Rumors
The long-awaited Deadpool threequel has been the subject of various speculations and assumptions. Credibly so, because the director, Shawn Levy, is rumored to have brainstormed his way into incorporating the Marvel Universe within the Deadpool franchise. The revival of a defunct X-Men franchise, a Deadpool x Wolverine collaboration, and a Taylor Swift cameo are the speculated selling points of the series.
While they haven’t provided extensive insight into these possibilities, Levy did make some other commitments regarding the upcoming movie. And should it be likely that the beloved X-Men ensemble stages a return, one can rest assured that the Wolf will lead the pack.

In his recent interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, he revealed more about the comic relief that the threequel has to offer. When questioned about the extent of the emotional rollercoaster in the movie, he replied, “I’m gonna say this — you laugh — a f***load more than you think,”.
He further commented, “One thing that Ryan and I were really united in is wanting to make Deadpool 3 very much consistent and continuous with the franchise DNA,”. Betting on Deadpool’s outstanding wit and humor, Levy promised to bring in another sensational comic character with Wolverine.
Fans can stay assured about the comic relief courtesy of Levy. However, there still remains lingering uncertainty regarding its perpetually postponed release date.

Ryan Reynolds, along with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, has reportedly returned to work for the screenplay of the movie. However, given the ever-delaying release of the project due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA, fans are still holding their breath for this one.
The A-list starred movie was originally set to hit the theaters on September 6, 2024. However, it was pushed to November 8, 2024, due to the actor’s strike. Following this, there was yet another shocking announcement, as revealed by Disney. According to it, the movie was supposedly set to hit the theaters on May 3rd, 2024. So far, it has been a series of delays for fans.
