Halloween brings happiness, horror, and excitement all at the same time. It makes people go out of their way to get dressed in as scary a way as possible. It also makes them want to revisit some of their favorite horror films and shows representing the Halloween spirit. Unfortunately, Friends fans do not have the privilege of boasting about it because the sitcom does not have more than an episode about the holiday.
Throughout its entire run for 10 seasons, the ’90s sitcom celebrated holidays loudly and excitedly. However, it did not have Halloween on its list of celebrations except for this one.

All the Thanksgiving episodes, along with other celebrations, made the sitcom extremely lovely. However, when it came to representing the scary vibes, only the 8th season’s 6th episode (The One with the Halloween Party) came to the rescue. Monica arranged a last-minute party where everyone donned costumes that were not even scary. In the episode, Rachel came as a woman who would not fit into her clothes in a few months due to her pregnancy.
Surprisingly, Monica wore a Catwoman costume, whereas Phoebe donned the Supergirl dress. Their interaction created hilarious reactions from the audience. The fun actually began when Chandler entered as a cute bunny and Ross came as Spud-nik. Joey being Joey came as Chandler uttering lines in the classic Bing style. Despite people dressing up and having fun, the episode failed to capture the Halloween spirit.
The only horrific element the episode represented was Rachel’s fear of becoming a mother. Although the entire episode was spot on in dealing with the different emotions of the characters, it did not catch the spooky element. Nevertheless, fans can certainly boast about the Thanksgiving episodes, which the show has plenty of.

Almost every season of the fan-favorite sitcom thoroughly justified the tradition of Thanksgiving. Season 2, Episode 8: The One With the List, Season 9, Episode 8: The One With Rachel’s Other Sister, Season 10, Episode 8: The One With the Late Thanksgiving, Season 4, and Episode 8: The One With Chandler in a Box, are some of the best episodes representing the Thanksgiving spirit.
One of the episodes also brought the now ex-couple, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. Although the Babylon actor cried at his wedding in real life, he hated Rachel in the show. Moreover, one of the Thanksgiving episodes also showcased Ross trying to teach his son about Hanukkah. But despite all the celebrations, Halloween got a little less attention.
