Krasinski has time and again proved his versatility in the entertainment industry. He is not only a talented actor but also has successfully made a mark in the directorial world. After the success of the 43-year-old director’s A Quiet Place, fans have been waiting for his next directorial venture. And it seems like the wait is over. A few months back, CinemaCon revealed the first look of the Paramount Pictures movie, Imaginary Friends. And now, the director himself has confirmed the filming of the upcoming American fantasy comedy, as per Collider.
Recently, the Screen Actors Guild Award posted a picture of a clapperboard with a caption that said, “Beautiful day to kickoff a movie! #IF”. While the director didn’t reveal much about the upcoming movie, he shared a crucial detail with the fans. The clapperboard revealed the name of the Director of Photography, Janusz Kamiński. Kaminski is an Academy Award-winning cinematographer who has been working with Steven Spielberg since 1993. Through IF, Krasinski will be transitioning from the horror genre to fantasy comedy as a filmmaker.
Even though this upcoming 2024 release will be the filmmaker and Reynolds’ first collaboration, their bond goes way back to 2018.
