‘Deadpool 3’ Trademarks New Film Titles Ahead of Super Bowl Trailer Drop
Ever since Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy’s next addition to the Deadpool franchise was confirmed, fans have called it Deadpool 3. However, back in December, it was revealed that the film had not officially announced its title. Instead, it was just called the Untitled Deadpool Movie when Disney put it up for marketing distribution. While it has been months since the film switched hands, trademarks for the title were only recently filed.
Just a day ahead of the anticipated Super Bowl trailer drop, Marvel Studios has fuelled speculation as to what the name of the Reynolds and Hugh Jackman film might be.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that Marvel Studios had filed not one, but 4 trademarks for Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 3. While fans had been hoping for an epic title for such a stunning crossover, they seem to have been a little letdown. The post revealed that the trademarks were for “Deadpool & Friends, Deadpool & Friend, Deadpool & Wolverine and Deadpool 3.”
While it could mean that the upcoming film will be getting one of these names, fans do not seem to be too pleased by it. After all, with Wolverine, TVA Minute Men, and possibly former X-Men stars making a comeback to the film, everyone was hoping for a title that captured the entire adventure the duo would be going on. However, the title has still not officially been confirmed yet.
With the Reynolds project debuting its trailer at the Super Bowl title decider, fans have a lot of different expectations for it to fulfill.
What fans expect from Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 Super Bowl trailer
Just last month, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Shawn Levy wrapped up filming for Deadpool 3. While they were once scared of being under-prepared for the film’s release, it looks like the stars are now right on schedule. Shortly after shooting had come to an end, it was announced that the film’s trailer would debut at the Super Bowl LVIII. Since then, fans have been hoping for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, Halle Berry’s Storm, and even Channing Tatum to make an appearance in the trailer or the film.

Although being at the title decider means the actor could be seen with his wife, Blake Lively, and her best friend, Taylor Swift at another one of Travis Kelce’s matches, Marvel fans seem to be way more focused on what the trailer could have in store.
